Evangelism
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost...
LUKE 19:10
Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. He met physical needs. He healed diseases, cast out demons, and raised the dead. He authoritatively expounded upon the law of God. He came to seek, to serve, and to save those whom His Father had chosen and for whom He would die. We in Vanguard Presbytery believe that evangelism is key to planting churches that plant churches. Serving the needs of our neighbors is one of the keys to opening the door to evangelism. Opportunities abound. Let us know where God is leading you to serve, and we will find a place for you!
A Passion for People
Jeremy Swygard has been trained as a missionary and an evangelist in various methods.
Very little in life is as exciting as leading someone else into a saving knowledge of our Triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
All is from God, through God, and to God, and the joy of knowing Him and making Him known is unspeakable.
All of us are called to the work of an evangelist. Some have the gift of evangelism.
We look forward to equipping you with a good understanding of how to learn and to communicate these truths to others.

Serve in your church
Use your unique gifts to help build the body of Christ.
We have multiple opportunities to serve within Kirk of the Way as well as with several outreach ministries in Kansas City.
KOTW's "As-You-Go" outreach ministry:
1) Get to know your neighbors wherever you are.
2) Present them with the Five Gospel Greats.
3) Invite them to introductory Bible studies.
4) Watch God call them to worship Him with us!

There are multiple opportunities to be generous spiritually and also materially in Olathe.

God has designed His church to spur its members on toward love and good deeds. As we learn of God through His Word, we glean and gather the wisdom we need to navigate this life and to glorify Him in every facet thereof. Together. The knowledge of the glory of God does not yet cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The glory of His holiness and justice is a warning to repent and believe. The glory of His grace and mercy is our only hope for eternal life, and people and peoples around the world do not know the beauty of this message. We support in spirit all missionaries whose feet are beautiful for carrying the gospel of peace and reconciliation between God and man that comes by grace alone through faith alone in the Man Jesus Christ.
