What Does Our Name Mean?

Kirk is from the Scottish word for "church," which is derived from the Greek, meaning, "Belonging to the Lord."

The Way is the narrow, difficult path set down and walked by Jesus Christ Himself. Because we cannot walk this path on our own, He did so on our behalf so that we can be called into Himself by grace alone through faith alone to the glory of God alone. We would be glad to walk this way together with you!

What to expect

We are Reformed and liturgical, which means that we stand up and sit down, but it also means that you do more than sing. We want the congregation to engage in all elements of worship, not just singing. You can expect to meet a small congregation that is learning to love God and neighbor, which includes you!

Our Sunday school begins at 9:30 AM and lasts for 45 minutes when we switch to our worship service. We begin our service with a time for public prayer requests and updates within the congregation. It is a way for you to get to know the needs of those around you and to recognize that we are all on the same footing before Christ.

The worship and covenant renewal service begins at 10:30 with announcements and prayer requests. We end at 11:45, and there is time afterward to get to know those with whom you have worshiped. We lock up in plenty of time for you to get home for lunch.

For mothers with young children, there are separate rooms for emergencies, and our livestream is available, but our desire is for you and your children to be with us for as much of the worship service as possible.

In terms of attire, people come dressed in anything from jeans and a polo to a suit and tie.

We would be overjoyed to have you come and worship the one, true, and living God with us. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Soli Deo gloria!
